Zine

I’m starting a zine. A 1/8 mini zine called Rebel Doll Issue #0. This mini-zine is the preview of what is to come. Things are coming together nicely for Rebel Doll Zine Issue #1.

I’m shooting for end of September for a 10-14 pg 1/2 size zine, a mix of art, music, and random personal articles. Hopefully with local contributions! Which will be available at (my) local record stores and through mail order.

Medical Update and Happy Weekend: Favorite Cameras

Hello friends,

I just wanted to give you a quick update regarding my surgery.

Everything went fine and I am home bound until my follow up with my doctor on the 27th. The incisions are sore and bruised but I’m healing well and taking walks to stay active. Feel free to email or comment if you wish to know more about the surgery.

So, since it is the weekend here’s my happy weekend list: My favorite cameras.

PRN HQ

I turned in my keys to my apartment on Monday, so therefore I am an official resident of the Punkrocknight House aka PRN HQ…this can be considered a good or a bad thing. I see the good in it mostly. I’m saving over $300 in rent, Jason and I share the 3rd floor, I have enough workspace to start sewing again (yay monsters), and there is a bathroom that we don’t have to share (at this moment).

Even though there is drama, which I stay out of, I don’t mind it.

Maybe I should write a book

I’m so glad we have a 4 day work week this week! I busted out the vouchers last week and I need a day to do nothing. Jason is playing a show in Bloomington on Friday (Marmoset). They will be playing with the Impossible Shapes (http://www.myspace.com/theimpossibleshapes). It will be The Impossible Shapes last show.

I don’t know what we’re doing on Saturday, probably typical 4th of July stuff, like cookouts and parties.

Well whatever you are doing on the weekend, I hope it’s a good one!

Sick / Tired

This past weekend I caught a cold bug. I took 2 days off from work, which I hardly ever do and I don’t know how I managed a photo shoot on Sunday without dieing of exhaustion.

I’m feeling better today though albeit this stupid cough, so it’s back to work for me.

This month is moving month. I’m so grateful that a friend of mine offered to help me pack up my apartment while I’m at work. So starting this weekend I’m going to be moving my things to the 3rd floor of the PRN (punkrocknight) house with Jason. How my stuff is going to fit up there, we’ll find out when we get there .
